Objective:
The research focuses on improving agricultural machinery and automation in the central region. It aims to design, develop, and test machinery for planting, transplanting, cultivating, harvesting, and post-harvest processing of domestic crops and horticultural crops. The six main research axes are traditional agricultural machinery, greenhouse technology, energy conservation and carbon reduction, adaptation to adverse conditions, mobile agriculture, and smart agriculture.
Development Achievements Showcase:
The developed machinery includes electric fertilizer spreaders, yam planting machines, tomato grafting aids, conveyor belt grafting aids, buckwheat centrifugal huskers, manual fertilizer spreaders, timely irrigation drive devices, multi-layer grain vibrating graders, electric three-wheel self-propelled sprayers, electric self-propelled lifting machines, electric self-propelled air-blast sprayers, organic fertilizer spreaders, semi-automatic double-row vegetable transplanters, passion fruit grafting machines, ride-on orchard mowers, orchard fertilizer drilling machines, and ride-on orchard fertilizer spreaders.
Agricultural Machinery Test Field:
1. Processing equipment (lathe, milling machine, electric welding machine, universal ironworking machine, hydraulic jacking machine, etc.).
2. Field operation machinery (tractor, rice combine harvester, mower, high-pressure sprayer, handling machinery, etc.).
3. Auxiliary machinery (generator, charger, air compressor, crane, 1.5 and 3-ton forklifts, etc.).
Greenhouse and Laboratory:
1. Greenhouse (precision greenhouse, automatic irrigation and liquid fertilizer system, semi-automatic grafting machine for solanaceous vegetables introduced from Spain, grafting seed healing room, etc.).
2. Agricultural processing machinery laboratory (packaging machine, moisture analyzer, physical testing machine, true density meter, etc.).
Current Research Projects:
1. Research and development of field operation and facility horticulture machinery and demonstration promotion of new agricultural machinery and automation equipment.
2. Application research on facility environmental monitoring and water-saving irrigation technology in response to climate change.
3. Development of 5G forward-looking digital application technology combined with information and communication technology and Internet of Things. The integration and development of mechanization, automation, intelligence, and the introduction of 5G, IoT, and other technologies reduce labor demand, increase operation efficiency, and achieve environmental sustainability and zero carbon emissions goals.
Future Research Focus:
Focus on improving agricultural machinery and automation in the central region, design, develop, and test agricultural machinery suitable for planting, transplanting, cultivating, harvesting, and post-harvest processing of domestic crops and horticultural crops. The six main research axes are traditional agricultural machinery, greenhouse technology, energy conservation and carbon reduction, adaptation to adverse conditions, mobile agriculture, and smart agriculture.
